Terms, privacy and returns
Short, because there is not much to say.
The patterns
Free to view, print, colour and share, for yourself and in a classroom. Selling them, printing them on goods for sale, or publishing them commercially needs a licence. The engine that draws them is open source under MIT.
Dedications
A dedication records that you dedicated a pattern to a name, on a day. That is all it is: not a trademark, no rights over the name or the geometry, and no exclusivity — the same pattern may be dedicated by many people, and each dedication stands on its own and keeps its own number. Three per account, and one more for every artefact ordered.
Orders
Artefacts are printed to order by a print partner and posted from their nearest facility. Delivery estimates are theirs, not promises. Payment is handled by Stripe; Azul never sees your card.
Returns
Each piece is made for one name and cannot be resold, so it is not returnable for a change of mind. If it arrives damaged, misprinted, or wrong in any way, tell us within 30 days and it is remade or refunded — your choice, no need to send it back.
What is kept
Your email address, the dedications you have made, and — if you order — the delivery address, so it can be sent. Colourings are stored as the taps that made them. Nothing is sold or shared beyond the payment and printing partners the order needs. Ask to see what is held, or to have it deleted.
Who you are dealing with
Azul is operated from Hong Kong. Nothing here overrides the consumer rights you have where you live.
